Following the life of Bal Thackeray, the founder of the Indian political party Shiv Sena, the film stars Nawazuddin Siddiqui as the eponymous person and Amrita Rao as his wife, Meena Tai Thackeray . Bal Keshav Thackeray also known as Balasaheb Thackeray was one of the Biggest Indian politician who founded the Shiv Sena, a right-wing Marathi ethnocentric party active mainly in the western state of Maharashtra, India.
