JHALLE is a comedy set up in the UK countryside, where our female protagonist, Nina (Sargun Mehta) has a psychological disorder. Her extremely well knit family includes father (Pawan Malhotra), a grandma (Jatinder Kaur), and a brother who are caring to the core and believe that Nina is going to turn normal one day of her life. Then there is Ballu (Binnu Dhillon) who has a similar disorder. Abandoned by his family at a young age he has spent most of his life in a mental institution. As fate would have it Nina is visiting city to when Ballu sees her and instantly falls for her. Nina also starts liking Ballu both fall in love, oblivious of the fact that both of them are similar in more than one way. Soon after when Binnu gets invited to Nina’s house to seek her hand. Accompanied by his two friends Ballu visits Nina’s house. His friends try to hide Ballu’s mental condition from Nina’s family so they don’t disapprove of him but little did they know that not only Nina but her entire family is weird in their own way. Chaos ensues resulting in a riveting climax that will decide their fate.
