Udayananu Tharam (Re-release)

The story follows Udayabhanu (Mohanlal), a talented and hardworking assistant director who dreams of making his own film. His "friend," the untalented but manipulative Rajappan (Sreenivasan), steals Udayan’s script, uses it to become a superstar named Saroj Kumar, and leaves Udayan in professional and personal ruin. The film eventually depicts Udayan’s struggle to reclaim his dignity and career in an industry obsessed with "stardom" over talent.
